Stephen Berryhill

Stephen Berryhill is seeking public office for the first time, but he has been actively involved in political reform for many years. An independent-minded Democrat, Steve Berryhill settled in the Haddon Heights area after graduating from Rutgers University Law School in Camden some 23 years ago. He has a long history of meaningful  participation in the community. While at Rutgers, for example, he served as class president, worked for the late Thomas A. Lunn’s law firm, taught Research and Writing and prepared a weekly tax publication.

Following law school, Steve studied for a master’s degree in business at Indiana University.. He honed his deep-rooted sense of advocacy for victims as an intern with the Consumer Services Administration while studying for his BA in economics at Boston University.

He attends Haddonfield Friends Meeting and has served on the School Committee of the Haddonfield Friends School, He is also an avid  sports fan and bicyclist.  Steve, his wife Tracy and daughter Melissa have lived in Haddon Heights for 3 years.  You will often see Steve walking the family dog, Tobias, through  Haddon Heights with frequent family stops --  often with the family’s miniature pig, Hagan Daazs -- for ice cream on Station Avenue. The family lives in Victorian home on the White Horse Pike.
